International School of Music’s Students to Perform at the Carnegie Hall on 3/25/2023
As many already know, Carnegie Hall is one of the most celebrated music venues in the world with a rich history of outstanding performers and memorable concerts. International School of Music will be joining the ranks of those musical greats when their talented students will take center stage at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall on March 25, 2023.
“This is an amazing opportunity for our students to showcase their talents,” said Inja Stanic, president of the school. “We want our students to experience what it feels like to stand on a stage like Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall,” Ms. Stanic said. She also adds “these amazing performances are once-in-a-lifetime experience for our students, as most of them take music lessons for the myriad benefits music offers them. “
The concert will feature forty of ISM’s talented students performing a variety of instruments: piano, violin, guitar, voice and cello, in addition to featuring ensembles such as fiddle band, flute choir, trios, quartets and duets.
So many of ISM students are excited to make their debut at this amazing hall this coming March. We hear from many of our students’ parents how beneficial it is for their children to include these kind of opportunities and performances on their children’s college application, helping many of them get into their first-choice colleges or into competitive high schools.”
Inja added that “each year we continue to raise the bar in terms of the quality and variety of music being performed. For many families, this may be the first time going to Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, so we work hard to create a great concert experience and live up the Carnegie’s unparalleled reputation.”
