We are very pleased to announce that The International School of Music is making its way back to The Kennedy Center to perform on the renowned Family Theater Stage this summer, June 26, 2020 at 7:30pm.
We are honored to showcase some of our most talented students in this recital, featuring performances on a wide variety of instruments and exhibit many different musical styles.
Auditions begin in April, and over 200 of our students who will be auditioning are working diligently on their repertoire to be one of the select Honors Students who will get to perform.
We are elated to be playing on a stage that promotes such commitment and prestige in The Kennedy Center’s goal of providing spaces for performing arts education for adults and children.
Our mission at The International School of Music is to create extraordinary musical experiences that enrich lives and empower youths to become more confident and creative human beings. ISM offers music lessons in all instruments, including voice, to over 1600 students of all ages, levels, and abilities. In addition to its Early Childhood Music classes, ISM offers various music ensembles, and adult music programs.
With locations in Bethesda and Potomac, ISM is renowned for its world-class faculty of professional musicians who facilitate a unique combination of high- quality music education and performance opportunities that shape and inspire young, well-versed musicians.
